Join Central Illinois Resource Center Inc. on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at George Doering Park in Washington, IL for our first-ever “Light the Night” Mental Health Awareness Walk. This evening walk is a community-wide event dedicated to raising awareness for mental health, suicide prevention, and showing support for individuals and families affected by mental illness.
As the sun sets, participants will carry glow sticks and lanterns, walking together in solidarity to shine a light of hope across Central Illinois. The evening will include an opening reflection, the walk itself, and a closing moment of silence in honor of those lost to suicide.

Participation
Registration is free with a donation of any amount. All donations directly support CIRC’s mental health programs, including peer support groups led by counselors, venue and supply costs, and emergency care kits for those in need.
